DESCRIPTION

This meta-analysis found that treatment of sleep apnea with continuous positive airway pressure significantly reduced the risk of recurrent atrial fibrillation. Adherence to CPAP therapy remains an issue, however, though improvements in mask technology may improve adherence in the future.
