DESCRIPTION

Risk factors for dementia following intracerebral hemorrhage were different for early versus delayed cognitive impairment. Only advancing age at index ICH represented a shared risk factor for both early and delayed post-ICH dementia and incident dementia within 6 months of an ICH appeared to be strongly associated with the hematoma’s size and location.
