It's time for the holidays and that means feasting (and a bit of splurging). It's easy to do both and still eat healthy and there's a lot of delicious traditional choices for those taking Coumadin®.

Roasting a turkey breast is easy to and (most important) easy to clean up. You'll have leftovers for that sandwich or turkey salad that really makes the holiday.

This menu includes all the fixings -- Roast Turkey, Mashed Yams, Holiday Gravy and a selection of warfarin (Coumadin ®) safe veggies as side dishes to choose from. All of these are the home cooked, traditional winter dishes that are so comforting.

Even though pumpkin does have some Vitamin K there's not much in the Pumpkin Tart recipe and by making individual portions it's easier to not overeat!

Eat well, eat healthy, enjoy life!
